Services

The time-tested treatments we offer engage both the physiological networks (nervous, circulatory, immune, endocrine, and digestive) and the meridian-organ relationships described in Classical Chinese Medicine. By harmonizing Qi and Blood, clearing pathogenic factors, and nourishing the vital substances, these methods restore coherence to the whole system—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Daosit Moxibustion

Moxibustion is the art of burning mugwort (Artemisia) over the body.

Daoist Moxibustion clears out internal pollutants, “takes out the garbage,” and recharges the body’s inner battery—restoring vitality, resilience, and the capacity to meet life with equanimity.

In Chinese Medicine, illness often arises from cold and damp invading the body. Daoist-style moxibustion opens and clears the 12 meridians, disperses cold and dampness—especially from the yin organs (Lungs, Spleen, Kidneys, Heart)—and supports the healthy circulation of Qi and Blood.

The fragrance of mugwort has a spiritually awakening quality: it clears dampness from the mind, invigorates the brain, and is said to attract beneficial spirits. Moxibustion reminds the body how to heal itself—by clearing stagnation, releasing toxins, and building the internal energy needed for transformation.

In essence, moxa treatment “cleans out the garbage” and recharges the body’s internal battery—enhancing resilience, vitality, and the capacity to meet life with strength and clarity.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a method of restoring the dynamic balance of life through the careful use of needles guided by natural law, classical cosmology, and the unique constitution of the individual.

Rather than merely addressing symptoms, acupuncture in this view seeks to reestablish harmony between the internal organs (zangfu), the flow of Qi and Blood, and the rhythms of nature. The practitioner becomes a mediator between Heaven and Earth, using needles as tools to awaken the body’s innate intelligence and return it to its original state of wholeness.

Dr. Liu Lihong, one of the most interesting scholars of Classical Chinese Medicine emphasizes that acupuncture must be practiced with reverence, discernment, and a deep understanding of the spirit of the classics—particularly the Huangdi Neijing—where medicine is seen as a moral and spiritual art, not just a clinical science.

Rather than simply treating symptoms, acupuncture helps restore the smooth flow of Qi and Blood, nourishes the internal organs, and aligns us with the rhythms of nature. Informed by the teachings of Dr. Liu Lihong and the spirit of the ancient medical classics, acupuncture is not just a technique—it is a way of listening deeply and guiding the body back toward its original wholeness.

If you're ready to reconnect with your body’s innate intelligence and explore healing through classical acupuncture, book a session or reach out with any questions. I look forward to supporting your journey.
